Usability Testing

We employ several approaches to usability testing,
according to the nature of the product being tested

As a company, GRC has its roots in medical informatics. Our particular interests lie in the area of human-factor testing/usability testing of IT applications for public use. This could be anything from a website designed for appointment setting or patient diaries for use on a mobile phone.

Our task is to find out whether users or potential users can utilise the tools as they were intended. We can help with tailored evaluation design and execution on a multilingual, international basis. Our capabilities in this area are global.

We typically test products in the following areas:

  • eCOA, eDiaries and any instruments intended to be completed by patients, caregivers and clinicians in a clinical setting.

  • Electronic patient diaries development and testing.

  • Medical apps UX testing.

Occasionally, we engage in testing:

  • Health content on websites intended for public attention.

  • Usability of medical devices alongside the Instructions for Use (IFUs).
